Echo Test + Measurement is proud to announce the release of Version 4 of the Echo AIO Test System Software with the following comprehensive set of new features and improvements.

Additional sample rates supported: Previously the AIO only supported 48, 96, and 192 kHz; the new firmware now also supports 44.1, 88.2, and 176.4 kHz.

Configuration save and load: The AIO device configuration is automatically and persistently stored in onboard flash memory.

Support for new H-Module and C-Module: A total of 6 module types are now fully supported in the Control Panel, CLI, and API.

More flexible module configurations: Combine any two analog modules (A, S, L, or H), or combine any single analog module with either a T-module or C-module.

Improved metering: RMS and peak hold metering ballistics are now selectable.

Output voltage limiter: Peak output voltage limit can be set on each analog output.

New Control Panel user interface: Features a revised user interface with support for all the new AIO features and automatic firmware updating.

TEDS data reader: A TEDS reader on all analog inputs allows copy and paste of TEDS parameter values to other applications. The CLI and API library also support exporting TEDS data to JSON and CSV formats.

Improved TDM support: The T-module supports I2S and 4-channel TDM, the firmware no longer needs to be loaded manually, and the logic level is now software selectable (1.8 V or 3.3 V).

System volume independence: The AIO intentionally no longer supports USB audio volume controls; this ensures that the muting or lowering the system volume level does not affect the output level of the AIO.

Windows 11 support: Included with the new driver.

The Control Panel, CLI, and API library are all available for both Mac and Windows systems. A single comprehensive installer for either Mac or Windows simplifies loading or updating the software. The Echo AIO software package includes:

AIO Windows driver: Supports ASIO, WASAPI, DirectSound, and Wave APIs, enabling virtually any audio test application to interface with the AIO.

USB 2.0 Audio Class support: Works with any Windows, Mac, or Linux system using the built-in audio driver.

Control Panel: Graphical user interface for configuring and managing the AIO hardware.

CLI: Directly configures the AIO from the command line or by loading a configuration file, allowing hardware changes from within a sequence in your audio test software.

API library: The API library provides a C-language API that allows complete control of the AIO using C, C++, Python, or other languages.
